2010 season - A mid table finish for Crook first XI saw them hampered by troubles over arrivals of professionals but the season did see DSM youngster Danny Thexton stamp his mark as a first team player. batting middle order, Danny had a good season scoring steadily over the whole season for both Crook and Durham CCC U 15s.

Crook Cricket Club will be celebrating their 135th Anniversary in the 2010 season. Crook Town CC are members of the Readers Durham County League, which they have won on 12 occasions.

Arsalan Mir will be professional in 2010 returning for his third season.

Steven Chapman and Andrew Pratt are former players who have gone on to play first class cricket.

The club currently has 4 junior sides at U11’s, U13’s, U15’s and U18’s.

The Club hosts it own cup competition, Carlsberg UK cup which is based on the 20/20 format, with semi-finals and final all played on the same day. The Cup has been running for 5 years and has attendances of over 500 for finals day.
