2010 season - a succesful season for the club as a whole. The 3rd XI won Sunday Division 1 NYSD league title at a canter under the captaincy of Shaughan Russell with several younger players making great contributions. The 2nd XI finished fourth in NYSD Division 1 and won the Haith Cup for the first time since 1973. DSM sponsored wicket keeper, Andrew Sturgeon finished 2nd top league wicket keeper losing out in the final match of the season by only 1 victim.

The 2nd XI also reached the final of the coloured clothing (supplied by DSM)15/15 competition, losing out to Redcar in the final. The first XI finished a respectable 6th in the Premier league with a total of 325 points (a total which has won the league previously) DSM sponsored players Liam Coates , Steven Lister and James Dobson each had good seasons with the bat and Peter Armstrong took 53 wickets with his left arm spin. The first XI with at least 8 home grown young players who have come through the club junior ranks look poised for greater things in the years to come.

The club has a long and illustrious history in north eastern cricket. One of the first members of the North Yorkshire and South Durham premier cricket League, Darlington have won the competition more times than any other club and also lifted the league's kerridge Cup trophy the most times. The ground has hosted many first class games and International teams have played here too. Durham CCC have used the ground for their championship matches and many Darlington players have represented the county.

DSM are the suppliers of all official DCC merchandise and are also proud to sponsor this club. They have an excellent junior section with many youngsters having represented the Durham County cricket board age group sides, the Academy and some have even gone on to play first class cricket.

This season (2010) sees the English professional, Doug Mulholland captain the club and the Quakers have ex Pakistani test player, Tariq Aziz as their overseas professional. The club boasts 3 senior teams, 4 junior teams and a ladies team and a girls team. Coaching takes place on a Sunday morning for under 11s when up to 100 youngsters hone their skills under the watchful eyes of many qualified coaches.
